- Introduction to mobile crane types, components, and terminology
- Roles and responsibilities in lifting operations (operator, supervisor, banksman, etc.)
- Basic crane safety, stability, outrigger setup, and load limits
- Reading and understanding load charts and lifting plans
- Pre-use inspection, safety checks, and defect reporting
- Communication, signals, and coordination with the lifting team
- Practical mobile crane operating exercises on site
